 What the future for education? - Week 1

   • Based on your experience as a learner, what do you think you will be able to get out of this course? And what ideas do you already have about the future of education?

     In this course, we are not discussion about tecnology, but what do we expect for education in the next few years. 

            - In this week we discuss: How do we learn? And a few things may be consider:

    (1) Absorving Knowledge - memorizing, it is a traditional way of learning. You can use the way you prefer to gain and mantain information.

    (2) Learning Skills - learn an hability by exprience, may faillure until in fact learn.

   (3) Exposd to critical people - learn from someone that already know how to do it in cases of hability.

          -The ideas that i already know about the future for education:

      That the conditions affect the students. People learn better when confortable, and outside the traditional aproachs of learning. When students have meaning and experience, increasing their freedom, is more possible to see a better perform than just adding informations ignoring the feeling of the students.

      To do that, teachers need to be more flexible, and consider the use of "construtivism", an approach, ideia, that everyone can create their own meaning in every learning situation, guided or not by a teacher. 

     Learning to learn (LTL) is a method that says: We can not teach the students to learn, they need to discover for themselfs what is better for them. They need to think about thinking!

    And all the time consider that: everyone learn in different ways, throught experiences and maybe even jobs.
